The SBS series pressure blasting machines are mobile devices designed for the most demanding surface treatment processes using a stream of compressed air and abrasive media. Thanks to their favorable conical bottom design, which facilitates the movement of abrasive material, and the possibility of using various types of abrasive valves, they are suitable for operation with all types of abrasive materials of spherical, rounded, and/or sharp-edged shapes, as well as of any grain size. The SBS series blasting machines allow for simultaneous operation with up to six working nozzles (depending on the model) and are available as free-standing units or mounted on mobile trailer frames.
The SBS series air-abrasive blasting machines enable achieving a surface cleanliness grade of up to SA-3/SP5 and an efficiency of up to 276 m2/h. The SBS series sandblasters are equipped with large CamLock-type couplings, ensuring quick and safe connections while maintaining maximum compressed air flow efficiency. Abrasive media loading is carried out manually or automatically via a pneumatically controlled feed valve connected to a rubber membrane – eliminating the need for inefficient threaded connections – which makes the SBS series blasting machines safer and easier to operate. The blasting machine is also equipped with a large inspection valve, allowing for quick emptying of the tank and enabling internal inspection.
Control of the blasting machine (in pneumatic, electric or electro-pneumatic version) is intuitive and precise, and therefore efficient, thanks to the placement of the control handle at the end of the working hose. A definite advantage of this solution is the ability for the operator directly performing the cleaning process to stop the operation of the device, which is in line with the most recent occupational health and safety regulations (solution available as an optional feature).
The SBS blasting machine tank has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU, based on and under the supervision of a notified body-approved design. It bears the CE marking.
