The SBM-H series pressure wet blasting/soda blasting machines are mobile devices designed for advanced dust-free surface treatment using a stream of compressed air and abrasive media in a water mist environment. Thanks to their favorable conical bottom design, which facilitates the movement of abrasive material, and the possibility of using various types of abrasive valves, they are suitable for operation with all types of abrasive materials of spherical, rounded, and/or sharp-edged shapes, as well as of any grain size. The SBM-H series blasting machines reduce dust generation by up to 97% compared to conventional blasting machines and allow for simultaneous operation with one or two working nozzles (depending on the model).
The SBM-H series wet air-abrasive blasting machines enable achieving a surface cleanliness grade of up to SA-3.0 and an efficiency of up to 128 m2/h in a dust-free environment. The SBM-H series wet blasting/soda blasting machines are equipped with a pneumatic system for forming a water-based abrasive stream using compressed air and the unique WIN-BA hydro-abrasive nozzle, which consumes approximately 30% less air compared to conventional nozzles. Large claw couplings ensure quick and safe connections while maintaining high compressed air flow efficiency. Abrasive media loading is carried out via a pneumatically controlled rubber membrane – eliminating the need for inefficient threaded connections – which makes the SBM series blasting machines safer and easier to operate. The SBM-H wet blasting/soda blasting machine is also equipped with a large inspection valve, allowing for quick emptying of the tank and enabling internal inspection.
The aquablasting/soda blasting process is widely used for cleaning very thin surfaces – below 1 mm – such as car body panels, aluminum sheets, wood, plastics, etc. A significant advantage of the SBM-H series blasting machines is their suitability for use in environments where spark generation or the buildup of electrostatic charges is unacceptable, such as in the petrochemical industry.
Control of the blasting machine (in pneumatic or electric version) is intuitive and precise, and therefore efficient, thanks to the placement of the control handle at the end of the working hose. A definite advantage of this solution is the ability for the operator directly performing the cleaning process to stop the operation of the device, which is in line with the most recent occupational health and safety regulations (solution available as an optional feature).
The SBM-H blasting machine tank has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU, based on and under the supervision of a notified body-approved design. It bears the CE marking.
